Kentaro Yamazaki

Born in 1976. Lecturer at Kogakuin University, Tokyo University of Science, Waseda University, Meiji University, and Hosei University. Won many awards in Japan and overseas: Itoman Gyomin Shokudo (2013) constructed by piling Ryukyu limestone with residents in Okinawa, Hakusui Nursery School (2015) stair-like building by making the most of the slope, Vision Park (2018) as the supporting facility for people with visual impairments. Aiming to design buildings that seamlessly integrate into people's lives, appealing to individuals of all ages, from children to the elderly, without being overly sensational.
