Tetsuo Kobori Architects
Born in Gifu in 1971. Finished the master’s course of Architectural Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering and Design, Hosei University (Hidenobu Jinnai lab), and Joined Kume Sekkei in 1997. Established Tetsuo Kobori Architects in 2008. ROKI Global Innovation Center –ROGIC– won both the AIJ Prizes and JIA Award in 2017. NICCA Innovation Center won the second JIA Award in 2019.
Overseas, he won the special award of the Dedalo Minosse International Prize for the design and construction of very high quality architecture through workshops with his clients considering the social climate, local community, and history.
